
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
Pre-school education is known as the magical years. It is the period during which the child’s development is the fastest and most critical. The aim of pre-school education is to ensure child development reaches its full potential under its own terms. The Child Development Program is a four year 8 term undergraduate program. Students of the Child Development Program graduate such that they can prepare programs suitable for development levels, plan lay-outs, monitor child development in various areas, work in collaboration with families, individuals and organizations within the child development industry, and raise public awareness on the subject of child development. Graduates work as teacher assistants at pre-school and special education institutions.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
Graduates can work for Technical and Vocational High Schools for Girls, primary schools, and pre-school organizations (play-school, nursery, kindergarten, etc) that are recognized and governed by the Ministry of Education, rehabilitation centers, private education institutes and courses that offer inclusive education.
ABOUT COURSES
Special Training, Child Development, Child and Play, Child and Drama, Children’s Health and Diseases, Child and Environment, Science and Technology for Children, Material Development, Children’s Psychology and Mental Health are the practical courses offered to Child Development students.
