Director's Message

Istanbul Kent University Distance Education Research and Application Center (KENT-UZEM) was established to contribute to information society processes, to organize educational activities of these processes and to conduct scientific and technological research to spread e-learning processes. In that regard, our aim is to conduct research on distance education issues, to continue to develop distance education processes, to transform the courses conducted by our university into e-learning structures and to coordinate the content.

Furthermore, UZEM works in coordination with our R&D Office on issues regarding project development, patenting etc. within our University and provides consultancy support on relevant processes.
UZEM operates in order to ensure coordination between the structures within our University and its stakeholders, especially in the field of distance education programs. It is responsible for keeping records of all educational activities related to them, monitoring, evaluating and carrying out the necessary improvement and update activities accordingly.

As KENT-UZEM, while performing all these tasks, we aim to produce the highest quality content regardless of time and space. Therefore, KENT-UZEM is founded on questioning and solution-oriented thinking structures in accordance with the principles of İstanbul Kent University.
