Our esteemed faculty members from the School of Pharmacy at Istanbul Kent University, Asst. Prof. Ece Güler and Assoc. Prof. Muhammet Emin Cam, along with our researchers from ResearchKent, Pharm. Hümeyra Betül Yekeler, in collaboration with University College London (UK), University of Aveiro (Portugal), University of Coimbra (Portugal), Marmara University, Health Sciences University, and TÜBİTAK, have had their article entitled “Curcumins-Loaded ZIF-8 Nanoparticles-Embedded Transdermal Polymeric Patches Increase Apoptosis and Reduce Necrosis in a Dose-Dependent Manner in MCF-7 Cells” selected as the front cover page of Nano Select journal by the world-renowned publisher Wiley!

This research introduces a promising new approach in cancer treatment. We congratulate our researchers on their work loading curcumin into ZIF-8 nanoparticles, embedding them into nanofibers using our patented device HUMA CF1, and demonstrating their anti-cancer effectiveness.

We also congratulate Bilge Tuzcu, a Research Assistant from the Faculty of Pharmacy, for designing and illustrating the cover page!
