Career Development and Alumni Office
As İstanbul Kent University Career Development and Alumni Office, we attach importance to supporting our international students not only in their academic development throughout their education, but also in their career planning and professional development. In order to enable our students to benefit from the career and employment ecosystem in Türkiye and around the world, various opportunities are provided for them to establish connections with different platforms, institutions, and employers.
Through the counseling and guidance services provided by our Office to our graduates and students, we support our students in planning their future careers. We also maintain continuous communication with our graduates in order to support them in representing our university in the best possible way in their professional lives.
Our Office places importance on closely following our students’ career goals and individual development, as well as connecting them with suitable employers, institutions, and career opportunities. In particular, strong communication with employers and collaborations developed with the business world provide a significant advantage in ensuring that our students are informed about available opportunities and, where appropriate, in creating new opportunities for them.
In line with this approach, we believe that our international students are an integral part of the large İstanbul Kent University family. Supporting our students in building successful careers after completing their education and maintaining their connection with our university after graduation are among the most important goals of the Career Development and Alumni Office.
Access to Employment and Internship Opportunities
In addition, our international students may apply for employment and internship opportunities through yetenekkapısı.gov.tr and kariyerkapisi.gov.tr, where they can engage in professional activities in fields in demand in the labor market, within the framework of applicable legal working conditions and relevant legislation. They may also benefit from employment services and career opportunities provided by public institutions such as Employment Offices and İŞKUR.
Through our Office’s communication with employers and corporate human resources departments, we aim to increase employment opportunities while also sharing part-time employment, job, and internship opportunities that may be compatible with our students’ fields of study and career goals. Within this scope, opportunities received from human resources companies and institutions and organizations involved in employment and operational accreditation processes at different periods may also be announced to our students.
At the same time, our international students are encouraged to benefit from opportunities such as ISAC international internship programs in order to gain international experience and become familiar with professional working environments in different countries. Such programs contribute not only to the development of our students’ professional knowledge and skills, but also to gaining international work experience, improving their ability to work in multicultural environments, and building an international professional network in line with their future career goals.
Supporting the career journeys of our international students, connecting their talents with the right opportunities, and ensuring that they maintain a strong connection with our university after graduation are important elements that contribute to strengthening our university’s internationalization and global recognition.
