We are proud and delighted to share that İstanbul Kent University will participate for the first time in the “Asia-Pacific Association for International Education (APAIE) 2026 Conference and Exhibition”, which is recognized as the largest and most prestigious international education conference and fair in the Far East and Asia-Pacific region. The 19th edition of the event will be held in Hong Kong between 23–27 February 2026, and our University will take part under the “Study in Türkiye” Pavilion, established under the leadership of the Türkiye National Agency.

Throughout the event, our University will be represented by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Necmettin Atsü; our Rectorate Representative for International Relations, Lecturer Emre Atsü; and our Erasmus+ Coordinator, Emel Magriso.

During the fair, our Rector and representatives will meet with partner universities with which we already maintain bilateral academic cooperation to review existing collaborations. In addition, they aim to visit the stands of higher education institutions from around the world—particularly from the Asia-Pacific region—in order to establish new cooperation agreements that will benefit our students as well as our academic and administrative staff, thereby expanding our University’s international network.

Prior to this major organization, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Mr. İlker Astarcı, President of the Türkiye National Agency, and his entire team, as well as to all representatives of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) and everyone who has contributed to this process, for their valuable support. We also wish great success to all universities with whom we will have the honor of jointly representing our country under the “Study in Türkiye” Pavilion throughout APAIE Hong Kong 2026.
