The documents required for the scholarship application and information about the application are announced on the website of our university under the title of online scholarship applications. Scholarship applications are received online. These scholarships cover 1 academic year and do not cover summer school. If students still need scholarship after one year, the application must be repeated with current documents in the next academic year.

OSYM Scholarship: It is valid for 2 academic years for English Preparatory Program, 6 academic years for Faculty of Dentistry, 5 academic years for bachelor's degree programs and 3 academic years for associate's degree programs.

Academic Achievement Scholarship: At the end of each academic year, considering students' academic achievement, academic achievement scholarship, which will be valid for the next academic year, is awarded to students who meet the requirements.

Sports Scholarship: Sports Scholarship covers one academic year. Whether the scholarship will continue in the following years and its amount is decided by the Scholarship Commission, taking into account students’ continuity and success in terms of receiving the scholarship. Scholarships are awarded for the following academic year if the requirements are met.

Talent-based Scholarship: It is awarded to students who take first place in national and international competitions in fine arts. For which branches of art and at what amount/rate the talent-based scholarship will be awarded, is determined by the approval of the Rectorate and the Board of Trustees upon the proposal of the Scholarship Commission.

Disability Scholarship: Students with permanent disabilities are awarded scholarships according to their disability level. This scholarship continues for the duration of the education.

Family Member (sibling and spouse) discount: Students and their siblings and spouses studying at the associate's degree/bachelor's degree level at our university receive a discount personally on the tuition fee. This discount rate is valid as long as students study at the same time. Information on the said discount is available on our website.

Need-based Scholarship: Scholarship Commission can provide scholarship support by examining the financial status of students applying for scholarships at the beginning of each academic year. The scope and rate of the need-based scholarship is determined by the Board of Trustees before each academic year.

If a student has received disciplinary action or a criminal prosecution has been filed against him/her, his/her scholarship will be terminated in the following semester.

The requirements for scholarships for students who internally transfer are determined by the Scholarship Commission and announced before the internal transfer applications begin.

An additional discount is applied to the OSYM scholarship for graduates of Istanbul Kent University Vocational School who  are placed in Istanbul Kent University via vertical transition regardless of their order of preference. Information on the said discount is available on our website.
