The goal of the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at Istanbul Kent University is to educate students with the highest academic and professional skills. The department offers courses in the fundamental areas of political science and public administration as well as elective courses on current global and regional issues, including political history, political and international relations theory, public policy, Turkish politics and society, international organizations, and regional politics. By acquiring English language, and research and IT skills in addition to theoretical knowledge in their field, our graduates are well prepared to take up jobs in the public and private sectors, in media organizations, as well as in civil society and international organizations. Alternatively, our graduates can go on to pursue graduate education.
As a group of scholars competent in research, scientific publications and teaching, the faculty members of the department welcome our current and future students.
