Programme Information

The Political Science and Public Administration (Turkish/English) Undergraduate Programme at Istanbul Kent University is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education that integrates the disciplines of political science and public administration. The programme aims to equip students with a strong theoretical foundation while developing the practical knowledge and professional competencies required to analyze and address contemporary political and administrative challenges. It offers comprehensive instruction in core fields, including the structure and functioning of the state, public administration, public policy, constitutional law, political institutions, international relations, local government, governance, and contemporary political developments.

Designed from an interdisciplinary perspective, the programme combines political science and public administration with related disciplines such as law, economics, sociology, psychology, international relations, and management. This interdisciplinary approach enables students to develop multidimensional perspectives and advanced analytical capabilities. In addition to theoretical coursework, students enhance their critical thinking, problem-solving, analytical reasoning, and decision-making skills through practice-oriented learning, case studies, research projects, and applied academic activities.
