Programme Educational Objectives
Graduates of the Political Science and Public Administration (Turkish/English) Undergraduate Programme are expected to:
- Pursue careers as managers, researchers, specialists, or policy professionals in the public sector, private sector, and civil society organizations by applying their knowledge of political science and public administration to contribute to strategic decision-making and public policy development.
- Work in the fields of banking, finance, auditing, and regulatory oversight, utilizing their knowledge of political science and public administration to evaluate financial auditing and internal control processes while contributing to transparency, accountability, and sustainable governance practices.
- Serve as public officials in central and local government institutions, undertaking responsibilities in areas such as international relations, public relations, human resources management, project management, strategic planning, and budgeting.
- Operate effectively in international and multicultural environments by monitoring global political developments, analyzing the dynamics of international politics, assessing their implications for international relations, and developing evidence-based policy recommendations.
- Build professional careers in the media, civil society organizations, think tanks, and research institutions as researchers, specialists, or strategic advisors, conducting policy analysis and contributing to social development, democratic governance, and civic participation through research and evidence-informed recommendations.
