What is the Erasmus+ Programme?

Erasmus+ is an international exchange programme supported by the European Union. It enables students to study abroad, undertake internships and gain international academic experience. Courses successfully completed abroad are recognized by our university and recorded in the official transcript.

Erasmus+ at Our University

At Istanbul Kent University, Erasmus+ activities are carried out in accordance with the relevant regulations and directives. The process is coordinated by the Erasmus+ and International Programs Office.

  • Applications are announced periodically by the university 
  • Evaluations are conducted by the Erasmus Selection Committee 
  • Course plans are approved by the Departmental Erasmus Coordinator 
  • Students are supported throughout the mobility process by the International Office and the department

Student Study Mobility

This activity allows undergraduate students to study at a partner university abroad for one semester.

Before the mobility, a Learning Agreement is prepared to determine the courses to be taken. Upon successful completion, these courses are recognized and transferred to the student’s transcript with their original grades.

Application Requirements

To apply for Erasmus+ Student Study Mobility, students must:

  • Be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at our university
  • Be in a department with an active Erasmus agreement
  • Apply during a period when a quota is available for their department
  • Have completed at least one semester of study
  • Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.20 / 4.00
